Micro renewables - ASHP

The Air source heat pump we had installed in August 2010 has performed magnificently. Despite some very cold spells over the winter it has kept us warmer than we have ever been for the 14 years we have lived in this house AND it has saved us money. We are well on target to realise the savings planned which , incidentally, fund the loan to pay for the system.

Renewables

A change in direction  is underway. I am currently studying full time at Dundee university for an MSc in Renewable energy and environmental modelling. Absolutly fascinating stuff learning about the energy industry and how it works.

Currently trying to get my head around Economics and energy policy especially Power Purchase agreements,  Renewable obligation certificates and feed in tariffs.

Current work packages include:

Processing orders for seed and ware potatoes and shipping them across the UK and europe on behalf of Skea Organics. 

Administering the Europatat2010 conference website and booking system.

Providing Admin support for Feisty Productions.

Administering the Scotsman politics podcast schedule, and project managing the sponsorship programme.

Providing project management and admin support for work package 9 of the  Equimar project
